IPOP.COM: Client Area

Step 1
Open Microsoft Outlook

Step 2
Open the "Tools" menu and select "E-mail Accounts".

Step 3
Select "Add a new e-mail account". Click the "Next" button.

Select "POP3". Click "Next".

Step 5
You will be prompted to enter your User Information (name and email address that is visible on your messages), Server Information (pop3.ipop.com for incoming; smtp.ipop.com for outgoing),and Logon Information (full email address, and password). See next step before moving forward.

Step 6
While in the E-mail accounts window, click the "More Settings" button. The "Internet E-Mail Settings" dialog will appear. Click on the "Outgoing Server" tab. Check the box next to "My outgoing server (SMTP) requires authentication". Mark "Use same settings as my incoming mail server". Click the "OK" button.

Step 7
Back in the "Internet E-Mail Settings" dialog, now click the "Next" button.

Step 8
Click the "Finish" button.
